Understanding Task Chairs
re Task chairs are often used in offices because they enable the user to perform a number of different tasks without leaving the chair. However, task chairs can also be used in school settings in a number of different ways. Specifically, task chairs may be used in science laboratories, listening centers or language laboratories.
There are a number of features which help to define a task chair. Most task chairs are on casters and have a number of features which can be adjusted. These features may include, but are not limited to, chair height, armrest height and back height. The ability to adjust these different features often makes it possible for the user to easily switch from one task to another.
